Nytol is used as a treatment for patients with difficulty falling asleep (insomnia).
Store Nytol in a cool, dry location. Protect this medication from light and keep all medications out of the reach of children.
You should inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any other medications with Nytol, have any allergies, are asthmatic, have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, emphysema, lung disease, shortness of breath, or sleep apnea. There are a few medications which may interfere with Nytol so also please inform your doctor of other medications you are taking no matter how trivial they may seem.
Do not use this medication for long periods of time. Check with a medical professional if you have any questions regarding this medication. Do not stop the use of this medication without first talking to your doctor. Nytol may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Be cautious when participating in activities which require you to be aware. It is recommended not to consume alcohol with Unison as it can increase the severity of the side effects associated with Nytol.

If you have any allergies to the ingredients listed on the bottle, or similar medications do not take Nytol. If you are taking oxybase, or have taken monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor (eg, phenelzine) in the past 14 days you should not use this medication.
Sever Side Effects : Severe: Severe allergic reactions; convulsions; lack of alertness; easily excited; quickened heartbeat; hallucinations; tension or thumping in the chest; tremor; breathless.
Common: Dizziness; sleepiness; dry mouth, throat, and nose; thickening of mucus in nose or throat.
