Glyquin XM is a medication used for temporarily lightening ones skin tone. Glyquin XM lessens the number of dark pigments being generated in the skin. This medication is used to lighten darkened areas of the skin and lessen blemishes like freckles, age spots, etc. (chloasma, melasma).
Store this medication at room temperature in a cool, dry location.
Keep this medication away from your mouth or eyes. Do not use this medication on burned skin, skin with a rash, or aggravated skin. Using this medication can amplify your sensitivity to specific weather conditions. You may require using a moisturizing cream with Glyquin XM. Stay away from sunlight and artificial sunlight while using this medication.
This drug may cause short term staining of your skin; this can be removed by rinsing the stained skin with water.
Patient Family Information : Take Glyquin XM exactly as you were directed to by your doctor of follow the directions on the prescription label. Wash your hands previous to and following using this medication (unless you are also treating your hands). Do not use Glyquin XM on your lips or mouth. If this medication does get on your lips, or in your nose or mouth, immediately wash with water.
If you have any allergies to any of the ingredients listed on the label do not take this medication.
Sever Side Effects : Severe: Severe allergic reaction, serious burning/stinging sensation of your skin.
Common: Mild burning, itching, redness, or other mild irritations.
