Store Eryped at room temperature away from heat and moisture.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or are taking dietary supplements while taking Eryped. Also inform your doctor if you have liver disease or myasthenia gravis as you may require an adjusted dose or specified tests before taking this medication.
Avoid exposure to sunlight while taking this medication. Wear sunscreen and protective clothing if you must be out in the sunlight. Avoid taking antibiotic medications while on this medication. Antibiotics can cause diarrhea which is a symptom that you may have another infection.
Patient Family Information : Take this medication exactly as you were prescribed to by your doctor. Take each dose with a full glass of water. Before taking this medication you should inform your doctor if you have liver disease or myastenia gravis. Do not chew or crush the pills. Always swallow it whole. Breaking the pill would allow too much of the dosage to be release at one time. When using this medication you may have increased sensistivity to the sun. Wear protective clothing and always wear sunscreen. If you have watery or bloody stool call your doctor.
Do not take this medication if you are also taking cisapride or pimozide. These medications may interfere with another and can cause life threatening heart disorders.
Sever Side Effects : Severe: Chest pain, uneven heartbeats, lightheadedness, fainting, nausea, stomach discomfort, slight fever, lack of appetite, dark urine, jaundice, bloody or watery diarrhea.
Common: Mild nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, mild stomach pain, dizziness, headache, lethargy,
