Aveeno Anti-Itch is used to provide relief for the itching and pain that occurs because of a skin irritation. For example, a chicken pox rash.
Keep Aveeno Anti-Itch at room temperature, away from heat or moisture.
Before using Aveeno Anti-Itch, inform you doctor of any health problems that you have and any medication you are currently taking. It is possible for some medication to interfere with Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream thus it is best to seek our doctor’s approval before using. Make sure to tell your doctor if you are pregnant or are planning to be if applicable.
Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream is for external use only. Do not get it in your eyes or mouth. Also, do not use Aveeno Anti-Itch over a large part of your body. In regards to children, it should not be used on anyone under the age of two unless told to do so by your doctor.
Use Aveeno Anti-Itch as directed by your doctor. Typically you should put the cream on 1- 4 times per day on the affected area and rub the cream in gently. Wash your hands before and after use. Make sure not to get this cream in your eyes or mouth.
If you have any known allergies to ingredients of Aveeno Anti-Itch do not use this cream.
Some serious side effects include allergic reactions such as getting hives, trouble breathing, or swelling up.
There have been no common side effects reported.
