Acetoxyl is used in the treatment of acne.
Keep Acetoxyl in a sealed container at room temperature and away from the influence of heat or moisture.
Acetoxyl should not be applied on sensitive areas. Make sure not to get Acetoxyl into your eyes, mouth, and parts of your neck. Do not apply Acetoxyl on any open wounds. In addition, it should not be applied to any areas that are sunburned.
When using Acetoxyl it may seem that your acne is not getting better. However, after three weeks you will be able to see an improvement in your acne. Also, do not use other skin products in addition to Acetoxyl unless you have gotten your doctors permission. Make sure you doctor is fully aware of your medical history and current health condition. Furthermore, Acetoxyl should not be used for children unless prescribed by your childs doctor.
Patient Family Information : Acetoxyl should be applied exactly as directed by your doctor. It is generally used 1-2 times per day. Wash our hands and face before using the medication. Apply Acetoxyl onto the affected areas and gently rub the medication in. Doses vary. Do not wash off the medication after application for at least an hour.
If you have any known allergies to ingredients of Acetoxyl do not use it. Also, do not use Acetoxyl on any open wounds.
Sever Side Effects : Allergic reactions such as getting hives, trouble breathing, or swelling may occur if you are allergic to the ingredients in the cream. Other serious side effects include: crusting, scaling, burning sensation, and severe dryness.
Common side effects of Acetoxyl include: dryness, skin peeling, and skin redness.
